Wild car, the hunters trophy
I stayed at Lavalette for two weeks in the midst of natural splendoor My work is based on mans need to imbue inanimate objects with a soul. One of these foremost objects is the car with singular pride a man will present his new car to his friends. This can be compared to the notion of the hunt. For him , the car becomes the biggest game he has hunted in years. After the hunt, the animal is skinned and the hide is placed above the fireplace, like a trophee. My intention is to mix these various aspects and present the hide of a car.
