Christiane Möbus [d]

Christiane Möbus works with found objects from the everyday world. These she salvages from their utilitarian context.

All of these everyday objects - their biographies and their inter-relationships - evoke memories and mental images. This is even more the case when the artist weaves the titles into our observation, which initially demarrage it all into a provisional story. Our interpretation of reality fails. Puzzles return and small children are still capable of solving them by constantly reshaping them in their minds and re-interpreting them in order to slip into other worlds. All that we are certain of, however, is uncertainty.
